- Aspects of ragging psychological, social, political, economic, cultural, and academic dimensions.
- Any activity that disrupts the student from regular academic activity.
- Any type of financial extortion, pressure, forceful expenditure.
- All kinds of physical abuse.
- All kinds of abuse via all types of communication modes.
- Humiliation, mental torture.
- Debarred from taking admission in any technical institution in India.
- FIR (First Information Report) against the culprits.
- Cancellation of admission.
- Suspension.
- Cancellation of Scholarship.
- Expulsion from Hostel.
- Fine of INR25,000/-
Depending on how serious the offence is, following are the other punishments -
Why you should not involve in Ragging -
- It is immoral.
- Student may commit suicide due to your activity.
- It disturb academic career.
- Strict actions are taken against offenders.(As per order of Supreme Court)
