Waste management is the collection, transport, processing or disposal, managing and monitoring of waste materials. The term usually relates to materials produced by human activity, and the process is generally undertaken to reduce their effect on health. - Wikipedia

Authority officials in Greater Noida, has announced that Greater Noida will soon be getting its Solid Waste Management System, to deal with the tonnes of waste produced every day. The waste will be treated with latest technologies to make life better.

The garbage will be collected and transported to the waste management system where they will be separated manually and by machines. Bio-degradable material will be used by power generation industries, compost will be used by agriculture industry and materials like glass, tin, plastic will be transported to related industries for recycling.

Remaining waste will be treated and disposed. This is one very good news for this city. Plants like this one must not only be implemented in Greater Noida but at various cities in India. We are huge population and so all sorts of waste generated is also very huge. Which if utilized in proper way can help in various ways.

Instead of dumping household and industrial waste at public areas, we should employ the habit of dumping waste in bins.
