Waste Management

Waste Management
Waste management is the collection, transport, processing or disposal, managing and monitoring of waste materials. The term usually relates to materials produced by human activity, and the process is generally undertaken to reduce their effect on health. - Wikipedia

Authority officials in Greater Noida, has announced that Greater Noida will soon be getting its Solid Waste Management System, to deal with the tonnes of waste produced every day. The waste will be treated with latest technologies to make life better.

The garbage will be collected and transported to the waste management system where they will be separated manually and by machines. Bio-degradable material will be used by power generation industries, compost will be used by agriculture industry and materials like glass, tin, plastic will be transported to related industries for recycling.

Remaining waste will be treated and disposed. This is one very good news for this city. Plants like this one must not only be implemented in Greater Noida but at various cities in India. We are huge population and so all sorts of waste generated is also very huge. Which if utilized in proper way can help in various ways.

Why Shivji wears Snake

When I googled it, I found many results. Each one with their own story, some were same and some different. And I am here to express my own theory here. And the beginning of this theory starts in my mind after I met a person. This person I met, told me that a person who smokes 'Gaanja' (Weed, Marijuana), remains unaffected of Snake's venom (I am not sure about the correctness of this statement).

This reminded me of those saadhu people who smokes gaanja. They consider it to be associated with Lord Shiva and take it as sacrament of him. They also believe that Lord Shiva also smokes it. This clicked my mind and I thought may be that's why he wears snake in his neck.

Though my theory may be incorrect, it is just a thought that came to my mind.

It's good to be single

Breakup is heart breaking. But after few days, it feels like great I am single again, I am a free man now. And it feels like haven, it feels like you have broken the chains that were holding you tight and now you are free, from all those non stop stupid talks 24 hours. You get to spend more time with friends, earlier they used to complain. You can spend more time on reading books, with family members, and on learning few new things.
Having a partner has some benefits, but not having one has many benefits. So, let's just enjoy our time and singlehood. And if you are bored of it give me a call.

For correct information it would be good if you contact them via phone or visit a nearby Bus Adda(bus stand). According to the guard at Parichowk, bus service starts from Noida Sector 35 Bus Stop, bus heads towards Parichowk and then towards Agra via Yamuna Expressway.

Rough Schedule -
7:00am from Parichowk and then almost every half an hour from parichowk according to the guard.

Overloaded autos in Greater Noida

We call Greater Noida an International City, but what do we have here as a medium for transportation??? Overloaded autos which carries minimum 8 passengers, 4 sit at the back and 4 in the front that includes the driver also. It is very risky, to travel this way. Anything can happen. I don't know what Greater Noida police do? Because this happens daily. You can see this near Glagotia (To witness this 9:30am is the perfect time), where students take auto to reach their respective colleges, you can see this at Parichowk and at Jagat farm also. It is a struggle for students but what are responsible authorities doing, are they waiting for any accident to happen in the future, what kind of International City this is and what we are proud of when we even can't arrange enough autos for students plus can't even be responsible enough to look after the safety and security of our people, of these students.

Availability of students in Greater Noida has generated employment for many otherwise everyone knows the history of this city. So, responsible authorities must look after this matter.

What passengers can do, they can help by not being a trouble for self  and for others. If 3 passengers are already sitting at the back, please behave and take another auto. And maximum 2 passengers must sit infront and only when, when there are 3 seats available (1 for the driver), please don't share seats with auto waala if seat is not available better take another auto.

Noida extension is now Greater Noida west

Developers gave name to this region 'Noida Extension', to differentiate it from Noida and Greater Noida, but this area comes under Jurisdiction of Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) and due to this fact, from now Noida extension will be called 'Greater Noida West'.
The name change is assumed to mark new beginning for this area.

Backup electricity costlier after diesel price hike

Various Co-operative and Builder societies in cities like Noida and Greater Noida depends on backup electricity to overcome the shortage of electricity. These two cities have low supply of electricity and their is a frequent shortage of power here. Societies basically use diesel operated Generators for the supply of  electricity.

Co-operative societies charge around Rs4-5/unit on electricity supplied by generators on the other hand builder society may charge around Rs14/unit. Due to the increase in diesel prices the cost per unit of electricity is also going to increase about 10%, again the people are going to suffer.

The corruption in India, has destroyed peace in common man life, corrupt ministers are looting India and putting the burden of losses created by them on common people. People like Kalmadi and company are threat to the existence of India in this world. I fear they can even sell their motherland for money.

What to do after Year Back -YB-MTU,GBTU,UPTU

Year back is a real shock in an academic career of a student. In MTU, UPTU, GBTU students are given a second chance to clear their subjects by appearing in carry over exams. Some students clear their subjects in carry over and get PCP status which is minimum requirement to study in next class and some get late to realize their situation and are not able to achieve PASS or PCP status.

Now, if you have got YB - Year Back, and if you are willing to study again in same year, you can whether choose to join as re-student or as an ex-student. In case if you appear as 're' - you have to pay the tution fees for the year and you are allowed to attend classes just like regular students, the only difference is that when you will be giving the exam you will have to fill 're-student', as your status.

In case if you select to appear as ex-student, you will have to pay only the exam fees, so in terms of money reappearing as an ex student in your exams will cost you less on your pocket. The practical fees is included in your exam fees, your old sessional marks are counted in this case.

If you have scored bad in your sessional exams, and it is impossible to cover those marks in your semester exams than you must appear as re-student.

What else you can do after Year Back -
See if you have realized your situation, and if you think that you will not be able to do B.Tech then you must consult and talk to your parents, discuss with them, discuss with them other options that you have and if there is anything else that you like, tell your parents. But if you realize that last year you did some mistakes and you have already promised yourself that you are not going to repeat them again then you can join B.Tech again.

What you must do if you don't want a Year Back -
1) Don't get crazy after any girl, you did not came to Greater Noida for this.
2) Don't participate in 'FIGHTS', students who fight for a piece of Rasgulla or get involve in someone else matter are the most stupid people.
3) If tomorrow is your exam don't drink today, better avoid it, drink after giving your exam, celebrate your hard work. Learn to control your urges.
4) Study atleast 1-2 hours daily, i am not asking 5-6 hours study, 1-2 hour study is more than sufficient. And when you study try to avoid your friend circle.
5) Do some exercises, calm your mind, believe in God and yourself.

Remember - YB is not the end of the world, it is just a failure, if you will realize this and work on your mistakes, you will be a successful person in future.

Best of luck.

No Airport for Greater Noida

An airport at Greater Noida was a dream for many. But this dream has been broken by Akhilesh Yadav Government, he has asked civil aviation officials to pinpoint a place in Agra or Mathura for airport.

An extra airport is a need near New Delhi which can reduce the load of New Delhi airport, also people from Noida and Greater Noida have to travel extra kilometers, and Airport in Greater Noida was also a need for industrial and reality sector growth.

The prices of real estates due to this fact has gone done by 30% in Greater Noida. 5 stars hotels are also build in Greater Noida, now due to the considerable distance between New Delhi Airport and Greater Noida, people will not want to come to the hotels for stay when they can get hotels near airport itself in New Delhi.

So, its bad news for business sector in Greater Noida, hope Government will reconsider everything and take some intelligent steps, instead of just making people suffer due to their old issues with other parties in Uttar Pradesh.

Greater Noida - Noida Expressway Accident

Collision between bus occurred on Monday, 6 people are seriously injured including the bus driver. The accidents on Expressway are common, they happens regularly. I travel a lot to Noida from Greater Noida via Yellow Bus, and i have seen many times crashed vehicles on roads. I remember two accidents that occurred in front of my eyes, once it was on one of the bridge on expressway, near Galgotia, where a Tata mini truck collided with the hoarding at the bridge, the driver was seriously injured and the nearby people came including me and helped the driver. And the other one was when a speeding car just came and crashed at the Parichowk, but thank God this time there were no injuries but it was entirely the Driver's fault.

It is highway so people will definitely want to travel fast. Sometimes accidents occurs not because you were driving wrong, but because someone else is not driving properly. He/she may even be drunk. So, you need to be very careful on Highway like this one.

Though this is an highway people still must follow the speed limits and must avoid risky driving.

Speed thrills but Kills.
Don't drink and Drive.
It's better to be late than never.

It is expected the work may start for the Metro Extension in 2012-2013-2014, but their is no exact news. The arrival of Metro to Greater Noida will also affect property prices and they may rise more. Though it is a well known fact that property in greater noida is already very expensive.

How to reach Greater Noida from Delhi, Gaziabad and Noida

Many people come to Greater Noida for first time for business meeting or for admission in college for higher education. Now I am going to tell you how to reach Greater Noida without wasting much of your money because private auto rickshaw and taxi may charge you more and most of them even don't run with meter.

So, firstly when you have to reach Greater Noida from New Delhi Railway Station. In Delhi now we have got Metro which is very good, cheap, fast and traffic free transport system. If you are at New Delhi railway station or any where in Delhi and you want to reach Greater Noida, just go to the nearby Metro Station and buy a coin(ticket) for Botanical Garden Metro Station ( Botanical Garden is a place in Noida. Whether you are from New Delhi or Gaziabaad or any other nearby NCR you will first have to reach Botanical Garden first for going to Greater Noida.).

After buying your coin aboard the metro. Please note there is no direct metro from New Delhi Railway Station to Botanical Garden, so you will have to aboard the train for Rajiv Chowk, after you reach Rajiv Chowk you will have to change metro for Botanical Garden (Noida).

After you reach Botanical Garden Metro Station, come out of the station and you will find various Yellow buses or low floor buses that will take you to Parichowk (Greater Noida), from where you can further go to your final destination via sharing or hiring auto.

There are private buses also but we advice you or we just highly recommend you Government Bus Services, because private bus drivers of Greater Noida are very careless, not responsible at all, they will take double time than usual Government Buses.

Now if you want to reach Greater Noida from Gaziabad you can catch a Yellow Government Bus to Botanical garden from where you can further aboard another bus from Botanical Garden to Parichowk.

Note :: If you are lost somewhere in New Delhi or anywhere and you want to reach Greater Noida, just reach your nearby Metro Station and follow the above told route.

NOTE :: We highly recommend you to use Government Buses only, because they will take less time, are cheaper and safe. Although cost doesn't matter so much but your safety does. This is from my personal experience.
